Short version: if you use a form on this site, we get what you type in and use it only to reply to you or to send you SteadyHarden launch news. That's it.

Who we are
This site is run by Thomas Mackie, doing business as SteadyHarden (“we”, “us”). You can reach us through our contact form.
What our forms collect
- Email signup: your email address, and the date and time you signed up.
- Contact form: your name, your email address, and your message.
- Both forms are sent to us securely, over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- When we send launch news, our email service, MailerLite, also records basic delivery information, such as whether an email was delivered or opened.
How we use it
Only to reply to your message, or to send you news about SteadyHarden, mostly our launch announcement. We do not sell, rent, or share what you send us with anyone else. We keep contact messages for up to 12 months, then delete them, unless we need them longer to finish helping you.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam on our forms; it checks your browser without tracking you for ads.
How to leave
Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask through our contact form and we will remove you and delete your address.
This website
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't sell or share your personal information. Traffic to this site passes through Cloudflare, which protects and delivers the site. To tell people from automated bots, Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm) that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity; it is not used for tracking or advertising. Like most web servers, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, and time) for security and troubleshooting, and deletes them after 14 days.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use SteadyHarden, such as which pages get visited and whether the site works well on phones. It helps us make the site better. We don't use it for advertising.
Only with your consent. Google Analytics stays off until you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you click "Decline" or ignore the banner, no Google Analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
What it collects (if you accept): pages you visit, how long you stay, the site that sent you here, your general location (country or city, worked out from your IP address), and your device, browser, and screen size. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address. We have turned off Google signals, advertising features, and ad personalization. We don't send Google your name, email, or anything you type into our forms.
Cookies it sets: _ga and _ga_<ID>. Both tell one visit apart from another and expire after 2 years unless you clear them sooner.
Who handles the data: Google LLC processes this data for us as a service provider. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
How long we keep it: Google Analytics keeps the detailed data for 14 months and then deletes it automatically. We may keep overall totals, like monthly visitor counts, that can't identify anyone.
Opting out: besides declining on our banner, you can block Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by clearing or blocking cookies in your browser settings.
